Our recent Community Wellbeing Event at St Bartholews Church Hall on Sunday 16th August, brought together an amazing mix of local therapists, wellbeing practitioners, community groups and organisations — all with one thing in common: a desire to help people feel good, connected and supported.
Visitors could discover organisations offering free wellbeing help, such as: KCC Family Hubs, East Kent Carers, One You Kent and many other local community and wellbeing groups. Throughout the day there were free demonstrations and activities in the church grounds, including gentle exercise Yoga, Mindfulness breathing and the Razzamatazz theatre group, who brought some special princess magic for the children!
Local shops and organisations generously donated vouchers and gifts for the tombola, while stallholders gave their time and enthusiasm generously. The day was ultimately about kindness, connection and giving — and the generosity and friendliness of everyone involved was truly wonderful. The proceeds from this charity event, went to Holding On Letting Go, a children's bereavement charity
Thank you, Herne Bay, for helping make it such a beautiful successful day!
